When big folk speak about the magic of Christmas, they often think of sparkling lights, excited footsteps and that treasured moment when a child feels completely swept up in festive wonder. At Lapland Letters, that moment matters deeply. But there is another kind of Christmas magic too. A quieter kind. A moment to pause, create and breathe.
This is the heart of Trixie’s Christmas Activity Pack, a free collection of printable Christmas activity sheets crafted inside the Lapland Workshop to bring families moments of calm, creativity and joy.
Designed for children across the UK, the pack brings together Christmas activity books, Xmas activity book pages, festive puzzles, colouring sheets and creative tasks, all lovingly prepared by the elves.
Deep in the Enchanted Forest, under the glow of the Wishing Star Sky, lies the Lapland Workshop. The magical home where toys, Christmas Eve treats and festive keepsakes are crafted by Tinker and his team.
Here, among tools, wooden cogs and ribbons, works Elf Trixie, one of the most creative elves in all of Lapland. While Tinker leads the craft and construction, Trixie brings imagination to life on the page.
Her designs help children slow down and enjoy festive crafting. And each printable is shaped to feel as though it travelled directly from Lapland itself.
December is full of excitement, rushing and festive preparations. Parents often look for Christmas activity packs, Christmas worksheets for kids, or free printable Christmas activity sheets to give children a moment of focus or calm.
That is exactly why Trixie created this pack.
Tinker describes it as a “quiet magic moment”, and the perfect pause in a busy Christmas season. A few minutes of colouring, puzzling or creating is often enough to help children settle and enjoy a touch of festive fun.
This free Christmas activity booklet is ideal for:
– Christmas Eve boxes
– Winter crafting afternoons
– Classroom use
– Rainy-day festive fun
– After-school wind-downs
– Keeping children happily occupied while adults prepare Christmas magic
Every sheet feels truly “from Lapland”, making it more believable and memorable than a generic Christmas activities kids printable.
Each page in the pack has been created by Trixie and approved by a specialist elf from the Lapland Workshop or the Lapland Postal Department. Inside, families will find:
– Help Post Postie’s Letters – a colour and play worksheet approved by Elf Postie
– Elf Tinker’s Toolbox – a creative tool-themed colouring activity approved by Tinker
– Design Santa a New Sack – a crafting page approved by Elf Buttons
– Secret Santa Word Search – a festive wordsearch approved by Trixie
– Design Mrs Claus’s Apron – a creative colouring sheet approved by Elf Sprinkles
– Dot-to-Dot Santa’s Sleigh – a magical dot-to-dot approved by Astro
These pages explore reading, art, fine motor skills, imagination and festive problem-solving, gently matching what parents often search for when looking for Christmas activity books, Christmas themed crafts, maths-style puzzles, and more.

Like everything we create at Lapland Letters, Trixie’s pack ties directly into the wider Lapland story world.
The elves have real roles, real departments and real responsibilities that children come to recognise and trust.
From Letterbox Lane, where letters travel from the Lapland Workshop to the Lapland Postal Department, to the enchanted trees watched over by Glow, each sheet is rooted in genuine Lapland lore.
Families curious about the elves behind the magic can meet them all here:
This believability transforms the pack from a simple Christmas activity pack into something children truly feel connected to.
The spirit of giving runs deep in Lapland.
Trixie insisted her pages should be available to all children, without cost or sign-up barriers — a simple gesture of festive kindness.
It supports families seeking:

Father Christmas loves to receive letters! If your child would like to write a letter to Santa, we recommend they include a few fun festive facts about themselves (What is their favourite Christmas tradition? What do they like to put on top of their hot chocolate? Do they prefer Jingle Bells or When Santa got stuck in the chimney?) as well as the latest update on their Christmas Wish. If they like writing on paper, then they can send it to the Lapland Postal Department via Royal Mail using the address below. Or, if their grown up has access to email, they can whizz it over to [email protected] who will make sure Santa sees it.
The Lapland Elves have lots of lovely friends in the Royal Mail, who make sure that all letters addressed to our Lapland Letters address make it safely to our UK Postal Department. From there, the Lapland Elves use Christmas magic to make sure each letter makes it way safely to Santa’s desk.

While the most famous of the herd is undoubtedly Rudolph with his glowing red nose, Santa travels with a legendary team including Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen. Each of these legendary reindeer names represents a unique personality that helps the team work together to deliver joy across the globe.
When they aren’t busy preparing for their Christmas Eve flight, the herd spends their time roaming the snowy forests and rolling hills. You can find Santa’s reindeer living in Lapland, where the crisp Arctic air and abundance of mossy treats provide the perfect home for them to rest and play throughout the year.
