Take a magical peep to see what’s inside…

The December 2026 Christmas Planner

Your month at a glance for December 2026. This festive calendar helps families gently map out the season, from the countdown to Christmas Eve 2026 to the little traditions that make December feel so special.

Astro the elf helped shape this part of the planner, making sure the countdown to Christmas unfolds at just the right pace. Decorating the tree, writing letters, baking treats, festive walks, and cosy film nights all find their place here. Marking these moments helps children understand how Christmas is drawing closer, one magical day at a time.

And because the magic never stops, the planner even includes a playful note about Santa’s well deserved holiday after Christmas 2026. After travelling the world delivering gifts, Santa enjoys a little rest in the New Year. The elves are fairly certain sunshine and sandy toes may be involved.

Christmas Card Planner 2026

Never miss sending a Christmas card in 2026. With a naughty or nice tick box added by our cheeky elves, this part of the planner helps families keep track of everyone they would like to send festive post to, from family and friends to neighbours and colleagues.

Postie, who runs the Lapland Post Room, always whispers the same advice each year: the calmest Christmases begin with a little planning in November. By starting card planning early and staying ahead of busy December post, families can avoid last minute rushing and enjoy more time for cocoa, cosy evenings, and festive moments.

To help families plan with confidence, Postie keeps the latest UK Christmas posting guidance for 2026 carefully updated, alongside trusted postal advice from Royal Mail.

Christas Gift Planner 2026

Keep track of your Christmas 2026 gift list like a true Lapland helper. From thoughtful presents for loved ones to secret Santa surprises, this part of the planner gives families space to gather ideas as they appear and plan everything calmly.

In the Lapland workshops, gifts are never rushed. The elves note ideas carefully, often inspired by trusted UK Christmas gift guides or festive shop windows, before making final choices. Families often do the same, using this page to capture inspiration before deciding what feels just right.

While filling in the Gift Planner, some families like to think beyond the presents themselves and plan a few special extras that make Christmas morning feel even more magical. The elves know it is often the words, stories, and surprises that children remember long after the wrapping paper is gone.

Letter extras, keepsakes, and small magical touches can be noted alongside gifts in the planner, helping families create moments that feel thoughtful and personal.

The 2026 Christmas Countdown

Astro and the countdown elves always say that the magic of Christmas is not just found on Christmas Eve, but in the days and weeks leading up to it. The countdown to Christmas 2026 is a time for wonder, patience, and gentle excitement, especially for little ones.

To help guide families through this special time, magical countdown letters are written to arrive during December. Each one is carefully crafted to help children understand how close Christmas really is, gently encouraging kindness, calm behaviour, and cosy evenings as the big day approaches.

The Christmas Countdown Plus letters help mark the journey through December, turning waiting into something joyful and reassuring.

As Christmas draws nearer, the Christmas Is Nearly Here letters focus on the final days before Christmas Eve, helping excitement feel magical rather than overwhelming.

Used alongside the 2026 Christmas Planner, these letters become part of a gentle festive rhythm, just as they are in Lapland, helping the magic build naturally, one day at a time.

2026 Christmas Menu Planner

Set the table for a truly magical feast in 2026. This part of the planner provides a dedicated space for families to gather their favourite recipes and plan every festive meal, from the main Christmas dinner to the little nibbles enjoyed by the fire.

Ginger the head kitchen elf helped refine this page, knowing that the most delicious celebrations are those where the chef feels calm and prepared. By noting down ingredients and timings early, families can spend less time in the kitchen and more time sharing stories and laughter around the table.

Whether you are trying a new dish inspired by a festive cooking guide or sticking to a much loved family tradition, this planner helps keep everything organised. There is even a small space to note down everyone’s favourite treats, ensuring that every guest feels remembered and special during the 2026 celebrations.

2026 Festive Bucket List

Capture the heart of the season with a personal collection of festive wishes. The 2026 Festive Bucket List is a joyful space for families to decide together which activities will make their Christmas feel most complete, creating a gentle guide for the weeks ahead.

The workshop elves believe that the best parts of Christmas are often the simplest moments spent together. From visiting a local winter wonderland to building a gingerbread house or simply spotting the first frost on the trees, this list helps families prioritise the experiences that bring the most smiles.

As each wish is ticked off, it becomes a lovely way to look back on the magic of the 2026 countdown. By choosing a few special things to do rather than trying to do everything, families can ensure the season feels peaceful and full of the genuine wonder that the Lapland elves cherish so much.

While the most famous of the herd is undoubtedly Rudolph with his glowing red nose, Santa travels with a legendary team including Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen. Each of these legendary reindeer names represents a unique personality that helps the team work together to deliver joy across the globe.

When they aren’t busy preparing for their Christmas Eve flight, the herd spends their time roaming the snowy forests and rolling hills. You can find Santa’s reindeer living in Lapland, where the crisp Arctic air and abundance of mossy treats provide the perfect home for them to rest and play throughout the year.
